The 240Tutoring Guarantee
Any 240Tutoring customer that scores a 90% or higher on the “Practice Test” at the end of the study guide and is unsuccessful on their exam is eligible for a refund on up to two months of their subscription. This applies only to teacher certification exams taken through the official state testing provider (i.e. Pearson or ETS) and not to exams administered by programs, Universities, or other entities.
The 240Tutoring Guarantee is proportional to the number of study guides a customer begins any work in (i.e. starting a Diagnostic Test or practice quiz, looking at study material or flashcards). For example, if a customer enrolls in 3 study guides and qualifies for the 240Tutoring Guarantee in one of the three study guides, and then fails the exam for which the user was eligible for the refund, they would receive 1/3 of their paid subscriptions up to two months. The 240Tutoring Guarantee will be applied only to the payments made prior to the customer’s failed exam attempt.
To be eligible for the refund a person must:
- Earn a 90% on the “Practice Test” in the study guide. This must be achieved prior to taking the exam.
- Take the exam within 30 days of the expiration of the 240Tutoring study guide. If an individual’s study guide(s) expires on January 1, 2017, then the test must be taken within 30 days of January 1, 2017, to be eligible for the refund.
- The person must provide a copy of the official score report to 240Tutoring. This score report must be free of tampering and the name must match the name on the 240Tutoring account. Score reports can be emailed. 240Tutoring reserves the right to request a paper copy of the score report for verification.
- Request the refund within 3 months of taking their exam.
Once the guarantee refund is given, 240Tutoring will close the user’s account if the user has already canceled their subscription.
